Kix Brooks will release the higly anticipated first solo single on March 19. The song titled "New To This Town" will also feature Joe Walsh of the Eagles. Brooks & Dunn parted ways in September 2010.

OK, so the CMT Crossroads with Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler went really bad. Because of extremely poor sound quality CMT took the show it the studio and fixed an autotuned version, which is available here.

The upcoming episode of the CMT Crossroads will feature two major stars Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. The special show airs live from Indianapolis the night before Super Bowl. The previous amazing episode with Vince Gill and Sting is available here.

The largest shopping mall in Tennessee, world famous Opry Mills, which is located opposite the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, reopens March 24. The mall was completely destroyed during the extreme floods in May 2010 and the reconstruction was postponed by many month due to numerous disputes with insurance companies.

Jake Owen broke his collar bone while snowboarding in Colorado. He tweeted a message to his fans to make sure that he would play all his shows the following week even if he had to sit on a stool.

Charlie McCoy is a genuine country music legend. During the most famous era of the Nashville Sound he was one of the busiest session musicians and participated on thousands of legendary records by major country stars and the likes of ELvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison or Simon and Garfunkel. He was successful as a solo artist on his own and his original composition "The Real McCoy" earned him a Grammy award. Charlie McCoy is also a frequent visitor in the Czech Republic, where he regularly tours with the legendary bluegrass band Druha Trava and I got to interview him at one of their shows in Prague.
